My Documentary Approach

I started photography as a photojournalist, so documentary photography feels like home to me. My goal is always to tell a story, and on your wedding day that story is about the love you share with your partner and the people you've brought alongside to celebrate with you.

This is for you if you're not too worried about perfect portraits and would much rather spend time partying with your favorite people and seeing pictures of their genuine smiles.

I have only one regret from my own wedding, and that's not ordering an album. At the time I thought to myself "I'm a photographer, I'll design this myself and it'll be so much fun and maybe I'll save a little money." And then as I started to look through our 900+ images I got immediately overwhelmed and never tried to design our album again.
